Yulia Mahr is thrilled to announce the release of a short film by Nowness exploring her practice and most recent bodies of work. Shot in early summer 2024 at Studio Richter Mahr, the film delves into Mahr’s unique vision and some of the themes embedded within her work. 

Known for her evocative and highly conceptual creations across installation, sculpture, photography and film, Yulia Mahr looks at the intricacies of human existence, exploring themes of birth, death, and transfiguration. This film offers viewers a glimpse into the inspiration and thinking behind some of her best known work.
